Manchester Attorney Maureen Manning appointed to Workers’ Compensation Board

Attorney Maureen Manning, partner with the Manchester Law Office of Manning Zimmerman & Oliveira PLLC, has been appointed to the New Hampshire Compensation Appeals Advisory Board. The five-member panel was established in 2003 to advise the Commissioner of the Department of Labor relative to candidates for the Workers’ Compensation Appeals Board. Attorney Manning was appointed to the advisory board by the New Hampshire Association for Justice as an attorney who represents those injured in workplace accidents. “I am greatly honored by this appointment,” said Attorney Manning, a past-president of the New Hampshire Association for Justice, a statewide professional association of trial attorneys who represent injured victims. “The Compensation Appeals Advisory Board decides the rights and benefits of injured workers in our state and it is important to ensure that all of our citizens have a chance to receive justice by having fair and impartial board members.” The Law Office of Manning Zimmerman & Oliveira PLLC, located at 87 Middle Street in Manchester, New Hampshire, handles cases involving personal injuries, workers’ compensation, medical negligence, family law/divorce matters, and Social Security disability.
